DOOT FOUNDATION is a Non-Government, Non-Profit, Non-political, Secular, Voluntary Organisation Registered under GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS CENTRALREGISTERED CENTRE CIN: U88900WB2023NPL265732, committed to promote the standard and the quality of life of the disadvantaged and marginalised people of our society.Doot Foundation works at Slums of Hooghly District (near Kolkata) and in remote villages. We work for integrated development of the disadvantaged community with a focus on promotion of Education of the children, Women empowerment, and Health. We also work for promotion of Peace, Social Justice, Sustainable development and environmental issues with adolescents and youths.

Vision

DOOT FOUNDATION aspires to alter the lives of the deprived people of the society and bring them in the
mainstream of the society with dignity. It envisions promoting peace, sustainable development, respect for the environment and establishing solidarity between communities and international voluntarism. And our work aims to break the vicious cycle of poverty and social isolation and to restore hope for a better future. We believe that every person has the right to access resources and opportunities to live and develop with dignity and to become an active and contributing member of our society.

Mission

Our mission is to identify disadvantaged / poor communities and share with them our time, knowledge, skill and other resources as per their requirement. We believe that human values are the most fundamental element of social development. We try to have the best possible connector between the Haves and the Have-nots. The Foundation for Social Change and Inclusion works for the social development and integration of underprivileged individuals, groups and communities.
