Doot Academy – G.T. Road, Rathtala, Bhadreswar, Hooghly
This school started in the year 2023 living in Angus, T.B. Hospital Kali Math Area in a small room. It’s an
English medium Co-ed school, having nursery to standard 5. We follow C.B.S.E. course. The school provides very high-quality academic material and also the school is well known for its extra-curricular activities like Karate, Yoga and Art & Craft.
The school makes special efforts to promote scientific attitude among the students as well as it also introduces the Indian heritage to connect them with the traditional root.

Project Vision : To give English education to poor children of slum area.
II. Background:
This Project proposes to enhance the English education in Angus, T.B. Hospital Kali Math Area. The reason for choosing this area is that it is situated in between of two populated area, one being Baidyabati and Bhadreswar the other, but in this Angus area there is no school that can provide an English Education, because this areas the parents of the students are mill workers and very poor people. Another factor is that the work situation is not in regular. There are parents who are willing send their child to English Medium School, but the schools in the area charge high prices which makes it unaffordable for most families.
So, we want to give the children of this village a wholesome education which in turn will allow them to help support their village. We will serve approximately 50 students at the beginning of the project.
III. Justification:
After the survey and interacting with the parents and the local communities, they are requesting us to establishing a Basic English educational program which will help the villager those who want to learn the English language to secure a better life.
IV. Project Goal:
The objective of this project to build an English Medium Pre-School for poor children of slum area. School will offer Basic English education to very poor villagers, whereas there is no other local NGO’s were doing this kind of program. We are encouraging the villagers to successfully establish school and encourage communities to use the school as a center for education.
1. To build the Basic English Education Program for all children.
2. To teach dynamic school events that enable students to act outside the box.
3. To educate each child as per child’s unique needs.
4. Maintain high standards and provide quality education.
5. To demonstrate equality in education regardless of sex, ethnicity, nationality, or religion.
6. Projected goal is to grow to serve between 100-150 students within the first five years.
